| Well...so its been a long time since I last updated on here. I apologize for that. Even though there really aren't any people who actually read my posts anymore. Ah well. I might as well keep an update in here.
Stuff that's happened...My grandmother passed away two days after Christmas in 2007. We miss her, but know that she's now in heaven and having the time of her life. The lucky lady.
I finished Massage school, and have been practicing a bit on and off. I NEED TO GET A FULL TIME JOB DOING MASSAGE! If anyone knows any places that are hiring in the Belton, Grandview area or near there let ME KNOW PLEASE!
I still work at the library. I still get paid not that much money.
Here's something new, as of 2008 I have started working the polls as an electoral judge. It's interesting, sort of fun. The last election, was HECTIC! Seriously. We were really busy during the morning hours. then it trickled off to a lull and that was about it. Thank goodness.
:P
I still draw a lot every week, as well as read, and play around on the computer. I have gotten into roleplaying some drow characters. That's a lot of fun. I got to come up with one's image, and the other two's personalities and kinks. It's a lot of fun. I may have to share them with you all on here soon. I've accomplished reading 108 books this year. And...I didn't start until the second half of the year. Which means...I could have probably easily read 200 books if I had started earlier. Pretty freaking awesome for me. I used to read like 300 or more when I was in school and had the summers off. tsk tsk. Ahh the old days. How I miss them.
If I could get a job that had something to do with reading...that would be awesome. Maybe I should look into that. hmm. Like a fact checker for book writers or maybe a publisher's assistant. I bet I could do those jobs pretty easily. I really would like to get into the literary area. It would make it a little easier for me when I do finally finish my trilogy. Sadly, I haven't really worked on it much this year. What with all the roleplaying I've been doing. Not to mention the journal entries and other stuff for them.
Well..until later. I really should get to work on some art commissions from gaia, art trades, freebies, and of course my latest RP replies. Hasta la vista amigos!

| *sigh* This really bites. I'm stuck house/pet sitting tonight. With no way of accessing gaiaonline and talking to all of my friends. It's kind of sad. I guess I should work on some other stuff. Like writing or drawing. God knows I've got several projects I need to complete. And I do have to get up early tomorrow. So, I guess it's a good thing I'm stuck away from the website. Though I did figure out the password for the computer. So that's a good thing. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get the internet working. The only thing that I really don't like about their house, is that it smells like dog. I'm really not used to living with a dog. Especially one that's this stinky. And two cats who stink up the downstairs. *sigh* I guess I'll post this and then get some dinner. If only I could find some people to talk to on my other websites that I can get on. Then I'd be perfectly fine. Like Zantarni, or Menewsha. If anyone's part of those sites, my username is Minyaagar on Zan, and Immortaleyes on Menew. Feel free to pm me sometime. I'm usually not this boring...I apologyze. ~A. Lange | | |
| Well, life is going great so far. When my sisters aren't causing tons of drama in the house. Last time they stopped over they got into a big fight with my parents, pretty much because they were trying to manipulate mom and grandpa into getting what they wanted. Which, was to drive the van. I can understand why my mom wouldn't want them to drive the van. First, what if there was an accident? Then my grandfather and my mom would have no way of getting around. Not to mention having to rely on my dad's van, which is not being so reliable nowadays. Second, she hasn't really driven the van before, so she's not really used to it. Third, she could have taken the offered ride instead of insisting that she was to drive the van. I guess it doesn't really matter anymore. It just makes me mad that they would get so caught up in something so trivial and start swearing out my mom because she didn't get what she wanted. Then there's the other stuff going on. Ugh, if there was a way I could get out of this place, it would be great. I should go on a vacation in October. Maybe my uncle would be up for bringing me to Washington like he suggested earlier this year. That would be great. I love the weather uo there. And I'd have time away from the rest of the family. I've never really had a vacation on my own before, I bet it would be loads of fun. Adios for now, A. Lange

| So, its been three weeks or more since I last wrote. In that time I have been to Nebraska,South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and now Nevada. The longest we stayed anywhere was in California with my grandmother Lue. We stayed there for five glorious days. It was really nice and cool in Eureka, CA. I kind of miss it, now that we're in Nevada. Ugh. The high is about 110 or so during the day and it only goes down to 98 during the night and people here say its not hot. Not. Anways, the trip has been pretty awesome. Its been great seeing family. I've been in my Uncle Mike's house for near 24 hours now. Its nice, with the air conditioning. And no one has said that I have to go with them if I don't want to. So that's nice. I took the time to type up the stuff I had written for my story while driving to Washington. I'm going to try and write some more. But it probably took me about two hours to type up the 12 pages that I had written. I think its because I haven't typed that much in a very long time and I'm just not used to it. My hands are starting to cramp up as I type this even. I really need to fix that. I'm pretty mad right now, because my gaia account may have been hacked. I know the password that I am trying is the right one, but its not working. So I think someone hacked it and changed that password. Its pissing me off. Because now I can't remember the email address that I used to sign up for gaia for my main account. Ugh. If I could remember the passwords for my yahoo account, maybe I would be able to see if its that email account. I guess I should have brought all my passwords with me. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait until I get home to figure everything out. Adios! A. Lange | | |
| I decided to drive up with my brother Yasha on Friday, instead of going with everyone else in the van. I thought it would be too crowded. And this way, Yasha and I can spend the 7 hours bonding or something. I just hope we don't drive each other crazy or something. And that we get to stop once inbetween. So, because I'm waiting to leave, I will be at home all by myself and its going to be loads of fun! I'm going to do some fun stuff in that time. Like, walk around in my pjs all morning long. And eat loads of tuna and carrots. Should be good. :) So, I'm off to dinner. Bye all! ~Amari
Oh yes, I forgot to add that I sent in all the paperwork to get my passport today. I'm hopeful that I will get it in time to leave for Africa come October. I am believing that I will be able to save enough money to go to Nairobi Kenya with my church for their wold conference.
